Haven't blogged on here for a while. I've been too busy working on writing projects, hanging with friends, and planning out other writing projects. I won't go too in detail right now, because sooner or later on my alternate blog (jamesfincher.livejournal.com) I'm going to put in a list of my coming soon projects, and my current projects. Not really for your sake, but for my memory's sake.
Anyhow, besides writing, my life's been pretty eventful. Just yesterday, my dad proposed to his girlfriend (who also happens to be my homeroom teacher). I helped plan the proposal with my padre, and even chose the song that he would sing to her. The song was a rewrite of Michael Buble's song "Haven't Met you Yet". My father rewrote the song and called it, "Haven't Asked you Yet".
Pretty great.
Sure, it'll be a change in my life, but I welcome change. There'll be some easy things, like sharing a room with my best friend for instance, and some hard things. I won't give you an example of the hard things, because it wouldn't be anything you'd understand.
But I'm actually not upset about it. Not yet, at least. At the moment, I'm welcoming the challenge of overcoming the hard things, and having fun with it.
Besides, the wedding's not for a while. So the change won't really come till then, I suppose.
But when the change comes, I'll be ready.
